Utopia is a British conspiracy thriller that debuted January 15, 2013 on Channel 4. The programme ran for two series and ended in August 2014. In October of the same year the Utopia Twitter feed (and later Channel 4) revealed that there would not be a third series.
HBO planed to adapt the series for a U.S. release until August 2015 when it was announced that the adaption had been cancelled.

The story follows a small group of people who find themselves in possession of the sequel to a cult grast uncover the meaning hidden in its pages before the disasters depicted become reality.
